Pioneering a more resilient industry with the design of a green hydrogen plant
Norway is setting the stage for a sustainable transformation with the introduction of one of its first green hydrogen plants. From trash to treasure: transforming waste plastics back into raw materials
In Europe, yearly about 26 million tonnes of plastics is disposed as waste. To align with European and Flemish goals new recycling methods are required. For the plastics to chemicals project, our client Indaver, together with the universities of Ghent and Antwerp, developed an innovative process to convert end-of-life waste plastics back into raw materials for the chemical industry. Transforming waste wood into clean energy
Steel production is a vital industry, but it leaves an environmental footprint. Therefore it’s necessary to explore an innovative approach. Turning waste wood into bio coal for ArcelorMittal Ghent cuts their use of fossil fuel, which reduces CO2 emissions significantly.
